Overview
Enterprise Flexible Rails shows you how to easily build scalable rich Internet applications (RIAs) using Flex 3 and Rails 2 with the Ruboss Framework, BlazeDS, JRuby and AIR. In it, you'll learn to build RESTful CRUD-based Flex RIAs using open source tools and cutting-edge techniques. More than anything else, though, Enterprise Flexible Rails is about staying a step ahead of the curve.
This book is for intermediate-level developers with a good basic knowledge of Flex and Rails. The book concentrates on using Flex, Rails, and AIR together with both standard Ruby and JRuby. It also introduces a framework--the Ruboss Framework--which can make the typical Flex + Rails development easier.
